This is Christopher Robin, He's a 1940's Chiltern teddy bear and he's in stunning condition.
He stands at 26" and comes complete with his cotton waistcoat and silk ribbon. He has the most wonderful characterful face and is wonderful to hug.
He's been very carefully cleaned and his blond mohair fur is soft and fluffy and combs through easily. He has full fur coverage which is amazing for his age....Please take a look at all the photos and you will see that he's in beautiful condition.
Christopher Robin is five way jointed and they all work well.
He has his original large amber coloured glass eyes and all his nose, mouth and claw stitches.
His original velveteen paw pads are also in very good condition, his foot pads have a very small amount of wear but still in fantastic condition overall...they have cardboard inserts.
Christopher Robin is perfectly filled with Wood wool in his head and kapok in his body and limbs...he sits and displays beautifully.
All his seams have been checked and he's in really lovely 'hug ready' condition...he's perfect for a gift or for your own bear collection.
Please note only the bear with his outfit is included in the sale, the Christmas decorations are not included...
I package the bears in a strong cotton drawstring bag and bubblewrap them for extra protection whilst in transit...I post in a strong cardboard box and send by Royal Mail special delivery (which will need to be signed for)
