Amber is a beautiful 1930's Merrythought teddy bear with the most gorgeous smile!
She stands at 20" and comes complete with her pretty vintage dress, silk ribbon and flower brooch around her head....
Amber has been very carefully cleaned and her blond mohair fur is soft and fluffy and combs through easily. She has areas of play worn fur loss mainly to her tummy so please do look at all the photos as they also form part of the description...however she still retains so much adorable character.
She's five way jointed and they all work well.
She has beautiful large amber coloured glass eyes and they have been sewn in as original so they are nice and secure.
Amber has her original nose and mouth stitching and has replacement claw stitches which match in really well.
Her paw pads were completely beyond repair so I have replaced them with vintage cotton velvet. The colour is the same as the originals and they are exquisitely soft! I have hand sewn the original Merrythought label back onto the paw pad. The paw pads have been 'reverse stitched' as they were originally made.
Amber is perfectly filled with kapok and sits and displays beautifully. She has her original Merrythought button in her ear.
All her seams have been checked and she's in really lovely 'hug ready' condition...she's perfect for a gift or for your own bear collection.

I package the bears in a strong cotton drawstring bag and bubblewrap them for extra protection whilst in transit...I post in a strong cardboard box and send by Royal Mail special delivery within the UK (which will need to be signed for)
