01/11/2024. This is Amber, She's a 1930's Merrythought bear and next up for restoration...

Amber is an adorable old Merrythought bear, she's got the cutest smile! She's already had a very careful clean and her beautiful mohair is very soft and fluffy....
As you can see she needs new paw pads as the originals are beyond repair...I've just had a rummage through my materials and have found some vintage cotton velvet that matches the colour of her original pads, I think it will look and feel gorgeous on her.
I'll also sew her beautiful deep Amber coloured glass eyes back in as original as they are loose.....
I'm really looking forward to working on her and will post some photos of her progress on here very soon....
