Annie is a really sweet 1930's Chad Valley teddy bear...
She stands at 14" and comes complete with her pretty vintage cardigan and ribbons.
Annie has been very carefully cleaned..... Her mohair fur is soft and fluffy and combs through easily. She has areas of play worn fur loss so please do look at all the photos as they also form part of the description...however she still retains so much adorable character.
She's five way jointed and they all work well.
Annie has amber coloured glass eyes and they have been sewn in as original so they are nice and secure.
She has her original nose and mouth stitching with a couple of added stitches to her nose ( I have used vintage thread which blends in well)
Her paw pads were very brittle and beyond repair so I have replaced them with vintage fabric, the colour blends in really well with her fur colouring. She has all her claw stitching intact.
She has a mixture of cork filling (which I have seen before in Chad Valley bears of this size and age) and wood wool.
All her seams have been checked and she's in really lovely 'hug ready' condition...she's perfect for a gift or for your own bear collection.
Annie's pretty cardigan is a hand made vintage item so is not perfect, it's had a few little repairs over the years but it still looks lovely on Annie and very in keeping with her age.
I package the bears in a strong cotton drawstring bag and bubblewrap them for extra protection whilst in transit...I post in a strong cardboard box and send by Royal Mail special delivery (which will need to be signed for)
