22/09/2023 Here's button sympathetically restored and ready to go home!
Button's restoration is complete...I finished off his repairs by carefully sewing vintage velveteen underneath what was left of his original paw pads....I also coloured them to blend in and so that they look authentic. I replaced his claw stitching as original too.
I'm very happy to say that his owner is delighted with his restoration, that for me is the icing on the cake!
