02/08/2019 Poppy's nose

One of the repairs that I had to do on Poppy was to return her nose to a more authentic state. It had been badly stitched at some point with dark thread and the fabric had all bunched up. (please see the previous photo of her) Once the dark stitching had been removed it became apparent that there was a gaping hole... so I had to reinforce it all with linen fabric and carefully hand sew it into place. Her light brown mouth stitching was still there so I dyed some threads and matched them in to the original colouring as best I could to make her look as original as possible.
